September 13: Annual Harvest Dinner will be held at St. Bernard's Hall.
Gathering at 3:30 p.m. and Buffet Dinner catered by Michael's at 4 p.m.
For tickets, $12.00 each, call Deborah Conway at 841-4930 or Lurena
McNamara at 841-4361 by Sept. 7. No tickets will be sold at the door. Our
Guest Speaker will be local historian, Ellie Collins, who will explore the

retirement in 1991, Ms. Collins has expanded her research time on the
subject and has passed this information to many groups and organizations
throughout central New York. The public is cordially invited to attend.
Following the dinner, tickets will be sold for our 7th annual Victorian
Tea (Saturday, Dec. 5) on a "First Paid" basis. Tickets are $10 each or a
table of 6 for $54.
September 19: "Cruisin into Waterville" The WHS will
have a sales booth and a food booth downtown this year. Please sign up for
a shift for either effort by calling 841-4018 or 841-4996. Shifts will be
about two hours long beginning at 9 a.m.-3 p.m. We hope that participation
in "Cruisin" will be a major fund raiser for us. Please support the
Society by stopping by our food booth located inside the East gate of the
Harding Nursing Home (car show site) for some delicious food* or to buy
some 50/50 raffle tickets. Also, stop by our sales booth located on Main
Street next to Stewarts and encourage family and friends to do the same.
*Food booth menu: salt potatoes, nachos, kielbasa
with kraut, cheese dogs, chili dogs, hot dogs with kraut, chips and
drinks, cookies.
